Job summary

CPI Selection is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Tester in the United Kingdom. The role involves mechanical and electrical assembly of HVAC units, wiring and testing to high standards. Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Tester

Salary: £15.00 – £16.50 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm, Friday 7:30am–1:30pm

Overtime: Available when required

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a market-leading HVAC manufacturer as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Tester.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in electrical and mechanical assembly, wiring and testing to join a skilled production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electrical assembly of HVAC units
• Build and wire controls in line with electrical schematics
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Carry out dead and live electrical testing
• Self-inspect work and report any quality issues
• Use a range of hand and air tools
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality and housekeeping

About You

• Previous experience in electrical/mechanical assembly and testing
• Able to read electrical schematics
• City & Guilds or NVQ electrical qualification preferred
• 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• HVAC, engineering or manufacturing experience would be advantageous
