Job summary
GE Vernova in the United Kingdom is seeking an Automation & Controls Programme Manager within our Power Conversion team to lead multi-disciplinary programs from concept to deployment, delivering world-class automation and control solutions for industries and utilities.
You will own timelines, budgets, risks, and cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Sales, driving continuous improvement and tangible business impact.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing R&D programs in electrical, electronics, or industrial control systems.
- Proficient in formal project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong risk, safety, and lean management knowledge.
- Excellent communication bridging technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Degree in Engineering; PMP or Prince2 highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams through full development lifecycle using agile methods.
- Coordinate requirements, software development, and quality control for seamless delivery.
- Own program timelines, budgets, and resource planning; manage risks and bottlenecks.
- Lead design reviews and ensure milestones are met across global teams.
- Collaborate across Product Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Sales.
