GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Project Engineer for HVDC C&P to drive cross-functional coordination and high-quality delivery in an international environment. You will lead a multi-discipline team, manage scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining safety and engineering integrity of complex HVDC systems.

The role offers an opportunity to work within GE Grid Solutions, supporting projects in the UK with global collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 9+ years experience in Control & Protection systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Lead cross-functional team for Control & Protection System engineering.
• Capture requirements and handover to customer within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with Tendering, Commissioning, Service and 3rd parties.
• Manage budgets, risk, design reviews, and change control.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and customer teams.
• Monitor progress and report monthly to Delivery Manager.
• Travel abroad for customer meetings and witnessed testing.
• Drive cost-out initiatives and continuous improvement.
