We are currently recruiting for a Grade 4 Network Planner to join us at our Birmingham depot.
Planners design our network and work with our Engineers to construct, reinforce, alter, and replace our equipment. The role is fast-paced, and successful candidates will be trusted to provide excellent service and minimise any impact on our customers.
Applicants must have English and Maths GCSE at Grade C/Level 4 minimum OR Functional Skills Level 2 or above, with evidence of qualifications required.
This role offers a hybrid working approach, combining office and home working. Hybrid working is available after initial training and is subject to business needs.
You will manage multiple projects, including the design, costing, and quoting of existing and new electricity network assets. Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will understand customer needs and possess strong communication skills to solve problems and explain issues clearly. You should be resilient, organized, and able to prioritize your workload, with experience using iPads and computers. Mobility around the area is necessary, and a full UK driving licence is essential for standby duties.
You may not possess all the skills initially but should have the confidence to develop necessary standards through training. You will be required to undertake a Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and complete TAR, including daily diary entries and reports.
*Initially, salary may be lower until relevant courses and training are completed.
A full valid driving licence is required.
