Job summary

Morson Edge is hiring an experienced Electrician to support critical infrastructure at the AWE site in Reading with occasional travel to nearby MOD sites. The role focuses on installation, maintenance and fault-finding of electrical and electronic assets across water and wastewater processes, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs to ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining water and wastewater assets.
• Ability to fault-find, diagnose and repair fixed plant and equipment.
• Able to work in confined spaces, at heights and in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain water and wastewater assets to defined standards.
• Fault-find, install, repair, inspect, replace and maintain fixed plant and equipment.
• Provide timely feedback to Head Office with status updates on allocated work.
• Coordinate with scheduling to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance across sites.
