Job summary

AFECO is recruiting site-based electricians to join our multi-disciplinary team delivering water-sector MEICA installation and retrofit projects across the UK. You will work on site at treatment works and pumping stations, travelling to client sites as required.

Responsibilities include electrical installation, testing and sign-off, reading drawings, completing paperwork and QA checks, complying with BS7671 and company safety policies, and supporting the wider team with a positive, can-do

Qualifications

2+ years’ electrical installation and testing experience, preferably in the UK water sector.
Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
17th/18th Edition and related qualification cards are essential.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation and refurbishment works on client sites.
Travel to various client sites and stay away from home as required.
Read and follow risk assessments, method statements and drawings.
Complete installation and testing paperwork and compile reports on progress and outcomes.
Work safely in confined spaces and at heights, in line with BS7671 and company policies.
