Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrician for Small Works & Maintenance in Warwick. You will work across the West Midlands on reactive and planned maintenance, electrical testing, remedial works and small installation projects across various properties.

The role offers a company van, iPad/tablet and workwear, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension scheme and health benefits. You will need a UK driving licence and relevant electrical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' qualified electrical experience in a commercial maintenance environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Current 18th Edition qualification (BS 7671).
• Current ECS card.
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Desirable: Asbestos awareness, PASMA, DBS or police vetting, Microsoft Office skills and experience in commercial, education, leisure or heritage environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Complete EICRs, electrical testing and remedial works.
• Install and maintain emergency lighting and electrical systems.
• Undertake first and second fix installations, containment and wiring.
• Install distribution boards, submains and associated electrical equipment.
• Complete minor works and installation certificates.
• Produce accurate job reports and testing documentation.
• Liaise professionally with clients and building users.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-outs when required.
