Job summary

Together Housing Group in the North of England is seeking an Electrician to join our Repairs & Maintenance team covering Yorkshire & Humber, including Leeds, Pontefract, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster.

You will carry out electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties with a Right First Time ethos, strong customer service, and effective time management to meet demanding schedules.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification - NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations or equivalent.
• Knowledge of BS7671:2018 requirements for Electrical Installations.
• Inspection, Testing & Certification qualification - City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 / 2395 or equivalent.
• Full UK Manual driving licence.
• Experience in electrical repairs across tenanted and vacant properties.
• Experience in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all types of Electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties in line with tickets and specifications.
• Aim to Complete repairs with 'Right First Time' in one visit where possible.
• Organise work to minimise downtime and re-allocate workloads as needed.
• Participate in overtime and standby roto as required by management.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain high workmanship standards in line with service specs and safety procedures.
