Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking an Electrician to join our Repairs & Maintenance team, covering Yorkshire & Humber including Leeds, Pontefract, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster. You will perform electrical repairs in tenanted and vacant properties with a customer-service driven approach and a focus on right-first-time fixes.

The role requires NVQ3 Electrotechnical Installations or equivalent, BS7671 knowledge, and City & Guilds inspection/testing qualifications.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications required (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Knowledge of BS7671:2018 electrical installations and standards.
• Inspection, Testing & Certification qualifications (City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs in tenanted and vacant properties per job tickets and specifications.
• Aim for First Time Right repairs with high workmanship standards.
• Organise work to minimise time loss and re-allocate tasks as needed.
• Participate in standby/call-out rota and overtime when requested.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs; obtain approval for more complex jobs.
