Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our expanding team. The role covers Bedford and surrounding areas including Milton Keynes, Luton, and Cambridge, performing repairs, maintenance and new electrical installations in social housing properties.

You will fault-find, work to the 18th edition, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service. Monday to Friday with occasional out-of-hours duties and a company van provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391-52 qualification.
• Experience in domestic or social housing environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs, maintenance, fault finding and electrical installations.
• Work across occupied and void social housing properties.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and Health & Safety standards.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and maintain accurate job records.
• Participate in the out-of-hours rota as required.

Salary: £37,500 - £43,000 (Depending on Experience & Qualifications)
Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician to join a growing team delivering responsive repairs, maintenance and electrical installations across occupied and void social housing properties. You will carry out fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation work, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs, maintenance, fault finding and electrical installations.
• Work across occupied and void social housing properties.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and Health & Safety standards.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and maintain accurate job records.
• Participate in the out-of-hours rota as required.

Requirements for the Electrician

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. 2391-52
• Experience working within domestic or social housing environments.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
