Job summary

Yorkshire Housing is seeking a qualified Electrician for Barnsley to join our Homes team. The role focuses on fixed wire testing, remedials, repairs and installations in domestic properties across Yorkshire.

You will hold essential City & Guilds and NVQ AM2 qualifications and a valid UK driving licence; work is primarily local with no overnight stays. You will work with a supportive team, using a modern van and equipment provided, with opportunities for overtime and enhanced pension and

Qualifications

• Must-have electrical qualifications including City & Guilds and NVQ/AM2.
• Experience in domestic electrical work and EICR testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical workstreams including fixed wire testing and remedials.
• Complete certification and reporting on electrical installations and upgrades.
