Mears Group in Peterborough is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. This field-based role covers maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems in tenanted properties, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting refurbishment programmes.

You will perform fault diagnosis, rewiring, and installation of new accessories, working to health and safety standards. NVQ3 in Electrical Installations and a valid UK driving licence are required, with opportunities for career

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations incl. AM2 18th Edition requirements.
• Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent (2394/2395).
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
• Domestic/social housing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and replace faulty electrical accessories such as sockets and lights.
• Inspect, test and certify installations for compliance and safety.
• Diagnose faults in consumer units and rectify issues.
• Install new accessories and carry out rewires as needed.
• Carry out first fix electrical works and cabling installation.
• Work independently or in a team to meet targets.
• Communicate clearly with tenants about works and outcomes.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Utilise IT/job management systems to prioritise workloads.
