Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are seeking an Electrician for a full maintenance training role at a manufacturing site in Hatherleigh, Devon. You will receive comprehensive training to develop industrial maintenance and engineering skills, with a view to long-term progression.

You will work Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:00, with optional overtime and a call-out rota for extra earnings. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems, and

Electrician (Full Maintenance Training)

£37,300 - £43,600 + Overtime + Long-Term Stability + Day Shifts (Mon-Fri)

Hatherleigh, Devon (Commutable from: Okehampton, Holsworthy, Launceston, Tavistock, Crediton, Exeter, Bideford, Barnstaple)

Are you an Electrician looking to develop your skills within a modern manufacturing environment? Would you like a stable, long-term role where you can receive full training to develop your industrial maintenance and engineering skills?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established manufacturing business as part of a supportive engineering team. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for an Electrician looking to move into industrial maintenance or broaden their existing skill set.

You’ll work Monday to Friday on a consistent day shift, supporting the site with electrical maintenance, fault finding and equipment repairs.

There is also plenty of optional overtime and a call-out rota available for additional earning potential.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance on plant, machinery and site equipment
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding, breakdown response and machinery setups
• Monday-Friday, 06:00-15:00
• Call-out rota (typically 1 week in 4) with premium pay

The Person:

• Strong electrical knowledge (mechanical fault finding also required)
• Comfortable working at height and completing maintenance paperwork
