Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd in Bristol is recruiting a qualified Electrician to join our Response Maintenance team, covering social housing clients. You will specialise in day-to-day repairs and maintenance, with some electrical testing and void works.

We offer a 39-hour week with a competitive salary (£40,093) plus overtime, bonus schemes, a company van, PPE, and pension contributions. This role emphasizes safety, excellent customer service, and long-term career development within a trusted housing

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrician with 18th Edition and AM2 is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential to undertake the role.
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in inspection and testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical repairs and maintenance in social housing domestic settings.
• Voids: repairs, rewiring, testing and upgrades before re-let.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service in occupied properties.

We are currently looking for a qualified Electrician to join our successful Response Maintenance Business covering the Bristol area. You will specialise in day-to-day repairs and maintenance for our reputable social housing clients.

The Electrician Role

• Undertaking electrical repairs and maintenance work within a social housing domestic setting, with occasional electrical testing requirements on mutual exchanges
• Voids - Repairs, rewire, testing and general upgrade works of void properties before they are re-let
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills when working in a customer facing environment in occupied properties.

What will you bring as an Electrician?

• Qualified to an NVQ 3 level as an Electrician, with an 18th Edition certificate and AM2, which is essential
• City & guild 2391 or equivalent in inspection and testing is preferrable
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Electrician role. A company van will be provided.
