Hartlepool Borough Council is inviting applications for a Street Lighting Electrician to lead the provision, installation and maintenance of street lighting assets within Hartlepool. The role involves maintenance, servicing, testing and fault diagnosis of lighting infrastructure on adopted highways and in public lighting environments.
The successful candidate will work to Health and Safety standards, be able to work independently and contribute to team targets and deadlines.

Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Street Lighting Electrician to play a lead role in the provision of the lighting service, including the installation and maintenance of street lighting assets.
An ability to undertake maintenance, servicing, testing, repair, fault diagnosis and installation of street lighting infrastructure are key elements of the role.
The successful candidate will have experience of working on the adopted highway and in a public lighting environment, and also be able to deal with members of the public effectively.
The ability to work independently, help the team to achieve relevant targets/ deadlines and a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements are all essential elements of the role.
