Job summary

Cumberland Council in Dalston is seeking a Street Lighting Operative to maintain over 35,000 streetlights and illuminated signs across Cumberland. You will perform installation, maintenance and repair tasks, including lamp cleaning/replacement, installing columns and cabling, basic electrical testing, MEWPs operation and precise record-keeping.

This permanent, full-time role is outdoors in all weather and may involve out-of-hours duties and winter service; travel across Cumbria is required.
