Job summary

Hartlepool Borough Council is inviting applications for a Street Lighting Electrician to lead the provision, installation and maintenance of street lighting assets within Hartlepool. The role involves maintenance, servicing, testing and fault diagnosis of lighting infrastructure on adopted highways and in public lighting environments.

The successful candidate will work to Health and Safety standards, be able to work independently and contribute to team targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience of maintenance, servicing, testing, repair and fault diagnosis of street lighting.
• Experience on the adopted highway and in a public lighting environment.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain street lighting assets.
• Undertake fault diagnosis and repair of street lighting infrastructure.
• Work on highway/public lighting projects as required.
• Work independently and help the team meet targets and deadlines.
