Thatcher Associates is seeking a qualified electrician for hands-on domestic electrical projects, testing and inspection, and maintenance. The role involves working in customer-occupied homes, communicating clearly with clients and managing own workload to fit a programme of works.

Based in the Gloucester area, the successful candidate will join a team covering heating, plumbing and electrical trades, with a view to ongoing training and a company van with fuel card provided.

Formación

• Completed electrical apprenticeship or AM2/NVQ3.
• City & Guilds 2391 (inspection and testing).
• City & Guilds BS7671 (18th edition).
• Valid, clean UK driving licence.
• Experience working in customer-occupied properties with good communication.

The opportunity

Our client is a well established heating, plumbing and electrical company based in the Gloucester area. They cover the full range of domestic and commercial heating, plumbing and electrical work, including renewable and solar PV installations and complete bathroom and kitchen fit outs. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to add a qualified electrician to the team.

This is a hands on role covering testing and inspection and maintenance mostly in customer occupied homes. You will need to be as comfortable talking to a customer in their kitchen as you are working to a wiring diagram, and confident managing your own workload against a programme of works.

What you will need

• A completed electrical apprenticeship or am2/ NVQ 3
• City & Guilds 2391 (inspection and testing)

It would also help to be based within a commutable distance of Salisbury.
