Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrician (Renewables / Heating) in Plymouth. You will carry out electrical installations, maintenance, inspections and repairs, including Solar PV systems and Air Source Heat Pumps, with the 18th edition and City & Guilds 2391 qualifications.

This role offers a £40,000–£43,000 salary plus a company van, fuel card, optional overtime, weekday hours, extensive external training, progression, and company benefits.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification required.
• Experience with electrical installations, maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical and solar PV installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with air source heat pump installation.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 and health & safety procedures.

Are you an Electrician, with your 18th edition and 2391 Testing & Inspection qualifications, looking for an exciting opportunity within a growing company that offer excellent training with both Solar PV systems and Air Source Heat Pumps?

The company have been established since 2011 and in that time have increased their territory covered to across Devon and Cornwall. Operating a fleet of 8 vans, the company provide the private and public sectors with high-quality M&E support.

Day-to-day, you will attend scheduled jobs to carry out electrical installations, maintenance, inspections and repair work, including the installation and maintenance of EV charging equipment and Solar PV systems.

This role would suit a qualified Electrician who is looking for an autonomous role within a growing company that offer great opportunities to broaden your skillset with further external training with Solar PV systems and Air Source Heat Pumps.

The Role:

• Conduct electrical and solar PV installations, repairs and maintenance within social housing and private property
• Assisting with air source heat pump installation
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 Wiring regulations + Health and safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with tenants, clients and office.
• Monday - Friday 8-5

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical discipline
• City and Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualified
• Ability to pass DBS check
