Rock Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a NICEIC-approved electrical contractor in Leeds for a full-time electrician role. You will work on commercial and housing projects, handling installations, maintenance, fault finding, and testing across occupied sites with minimal disruption.

Offered is a £40,000 annual salary, company van, holiday, and stable long-term work with a public sector and housing project pipeline.

Qualifikationen

• Must have at least 2 years' experience in electrical installations
• City & Guilds 2365 (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3 and AM2 are required
• 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
• 2391 (or equivalent) inspection and testing qualification is desirable
• EV charger installation qualification is desirable

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, NICEIC-approved electrical contractor with a strong reputation for clear communication, high-quality workmanship and reliable delivery. They are independently accredited and work with public sector, commercial and housing clients.

The company covers design, installation and maintenance across a wide range of sites, from healthcare, education and warehousing to social housing, sheltered housing and care homes. They also install LED lighting, solar panels, battery storage and EV chargers, so you'll get plenty of variety and the chance to build new skills.

The Role

You’ll join an established team of electricians, working across a mix of commercial and housing projects. Your work will include:

• Electrical installations, upgrades and full or partial rewires
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and repairs
• Inspection and testing, including EICRs
• LED lighting upgrades
• EV charger installations, and support on solar and battery storage projects where relevant
• Working in occupied properties, including social and sheltered housing, with minimal disruption to residents

Good communication matters here. You'll treat clients and residents with respect, explain your work clearly and leave every job safe, compliant and right first time.

About You

• Fully qualified electrician with at least 2 years' experience [adjust as needed]
• City & Guilds 2365 (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3 and AM2
• 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
• City & Guilds #removed# (or equivalent) for inspection and testing: highly desirable
• EV charger installation qualification: desirable
• Experience in commercial, public sector, social housing or occupied property settings: desirable
• A full UK driving licence
