Job summary

Serco Group Plc is seeking an Electrician to carry out reactive and remedial electrical works across domestic properties within the AASC portfolio. You will inspect, test and certify installations, maintain power/lighting and backup systems, and provide technical support to maintenance colleagues while traveling across the region.

Permanent, full-time role (37.5h/week), typically 08:00–18:00, with on-call duty and occasional out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to City and Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 (2365, 2330 or equivalent).
  • Holds City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition and City and Guilds 2391/52 Inspection and Testing qualifications.
  • Experienced in carrying out electrical work within domestic dwellings.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
  • Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week, typically between 08:00 and 18:00, with participation in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours working requirements)

Job description

As an Electrician in our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) team, you'll carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and certification across a portfolio of residential properties. Your expertise will help ensure safe, compliant and well-maintained accommodation for the people who rely on our services. What you’ll do as a Electrician
