Job summary

UKSE Group is seeking an experienced Electrician for a two-month pump station refurbishment project across West London. The role involves electrical refurbishment, installation works, testing and inspection of electrical installations, and working alongside a small team in pump stations.

Applicants must hold ESC Gold Card, Thames Water Passport, 2391 Testing & Inspection, a full UK driving licence, and be comfortable with physically demanding and dirty site work.

Electrician – Pump Station Refurbishment

Start Date: 02/11/2026
Contract: 2 months - Monday to Friday
Location: Various sites across West London
Team: Working as part of a 3-person team
Vehicle: Company van and fuel card provided

Overtime: If over 10-hour days, time and a third

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join a 2-month pump station refurbishment project across West London.

The role involves electrical refurbishment and installation works within pump station environments, working alongside a small team. The work can be physically demanding and dirty, so candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions.

Duties:

• Electrical refurbishment works within pump stations.
• Installation, alteration and replacement of electrical systems and equipment.
• Testing and inspection of electrical installations.
• Disconnecting and reconnecting existing equipment.
• Cable installation and electrical containment.
• Fault finding and general electrical maintenance.
• Working alongside mechanical teams carrying out pump station refurbishment.
• Using hand and power tools.
• Working across various West London sites.
  

Essential Requirements:

• ESC Gold Card – essential.
• Thames Water Passport – essential; training can be provided.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection – essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Must be comfortable with physically demanding and dirty site work.
• Fully qualified electrician with relevant electrical qualifications.
• Previous industrial, water industry or pump station experience.
• Own electrical hand and power tools, including drills and a grinder.
• Full orange high-visibility PPE.
• 5-point PPE.

Desirable:

• Medium Risk Confined Space certification; training can be provided.
• Previous experience working within pump stations or the water industry.
