Thames Water is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a mobile role covering multiple pumping stations in the Home Counties South area. You will inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test and repair electrical equipment across sites, while coordinating with the Technical Support Manager to respond to alarms and ensure continuous operation.
The role requires time-served electrical/mechanical experience and qualifications (NVQ/C&G Level 3).
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in the Camberley pumping team. This is a mobile role where the successful candidate will travel across multiple pumping station sites in the Home Counties South area.
As the successful candidate, you will be using your electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate, mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe efficient timely and effective manner with minimum supervision allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefit of our customers.

Base Location: Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel across multiple pumping stations in the Home Counties South area. Contractually you would be based at Camberley STW (GU15 3YL) or Esher STW (KT10 8AU).
Working pattern: 38 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7:30 am - 3:36pm, plus overtime opportunities upon completion of essential company training.
All PPE, tools, a company van and a fuel card are provided.
