Qualifications

• Experience in planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Strong focus on health & safety in regulated environments.
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2+ in Electrical Installation and 18th Edition certified.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs.
• Undertake minor installation works and component replacements.
• Conduct inspections and testing in line with regulations.
• Complete maintenance records and reports accurately.
• Support general maintenance and operational requirements.
• Work within Health & Safety procedures in a secure environment.

We’re recruiting for an Electrician to join an established facilities team in Oakham, working within a secure prison environment. This role offers a stable, long-term position with structured working patterns and ongoing development.

As an Electrician, you’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on essential electrical systems, ensuring a safe and compliant environment in Oakham.
