Job summary

MoveATech is seeking an Electrician for Oakham on a permanent basis. The base salary ranges between £30,866 - £36,135, with a shift uplift bringing it to £35,495 - £41,555.

You will perform planned and preventative electrical maintenance, fault finding, and testing with BS7671 records to ensure safe, compliant systems across the environment. Weekend work on a rota basis adds 15% to the basic salary.

Qualifications

• Evidence of City & Guilds Level 2 electrical installation competence.
• Knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and safety practices.
• Strong fault-finding and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance and admin duties.
• Fault finding and solving issues on electrical systems across site.
• Carry out replacements and electrical testing with BS7671 records.

Electrician Oakham

We are recruiting for an Electrician on a Permanent basis

The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 with the shift uplift it is £35,495- £41,555

As Electrician you will be involved in;

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including administrative duties aligned to the tasks.
• Actively fault finding / problem solving on electrical systems across the prison.
• Carry out like for like replacements and other electrical minor works with the relevant electrical inspections and tests carried out and results recorded in accordance with BS7671.
• Ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effectively helping to create a secure and well-maintained environment for staff and residents.

What you will bring:

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent.
• BS7671 18th Edition, however, we will consider 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

There may be a need to work some weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
