Job summary

Escape Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a growing engineering team delivering installation, commissioning and maintenance projects across customer sites throughout the UK. This role is based in Nottingham with regular UK travel and overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations, 18th Edition, and City & Guilds 2391, plus a JIB Gold Card and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• You must have: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing is required.
• A JIB Gold Card and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning specialist electrical equipment.
• Carrying out electrical testing and inspections.
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues.
• Completing site surveys and producing reports.
• Reading and working from technical drawings and documentation.
• Working safely at customer sites across the UK.
• Using mobile technology to complete documentation.
• Working alongside mechanical engineers and project teams.
• Regular UK travel with overnight stays.
• No two days are the same, offering variety and autonomy.
