Job summary

Escape UK is seeking a Field Service Electrician to travel across the UK from base in Manningtree, delivering electrical installation, commissioning and fault-finding. You will inspect sites, generate technical reports and work from established documentation, supporting an experienced engineering team.

The role requires a valid JIB Gold Card, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th Edition, with enhanced earning potential through an OTE that can reach around £60,000.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition.
• JIB Gold Card and City & Guilds 2391 desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

Salaries: £40,000 with OTE of up to £60,000

We're looking for an experienced Field Service Electrician to join an established engineering team based in Manningtree.

This is a hands‑on position where you'll travel to sites throughout the UK, carrying out electrical installation, commissioning, testing, inspection and fault finding.

What you’ll be doing

• Installing and commissioning electrical systems
• Inspection, testing and fault finding
• Carrying out site surveys
• Producing technical reports
• Working from technical instructions and documentation
• Diagnosing electrical faults and resolving issues
• Travelling throughout the UK
• Regular overnight stays
• Working alongside other engineers and trades
• Supporting workshop activities when required
