Job summary

Think Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Electrician in Newcastle-under-Lyme and surrounding areas. The role covers domestic electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and installation in occupied and void properties, with a focus on compliance and high standards.

You will work with a well-established social housing provider across Staffordshire, with a company van and fuel card included, and a permanent full-time contract at 39 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic electrical work.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Testing and inspection experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Positive, flexible approach to working within a team.
• Social housing experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Domestic electrical repairs and planned maintenance
• Fault finding and remedial works
• Installation of new circuits and associated testing
• Consumer unit upgrades
• Completing EICRs, Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC) and Minor Works Certificates (MWC)

The Role

You\'ll be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and installation work within occupied and void domestic properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
