Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking an Advanced Electrician to join the Barnsley, Wakefield & Rotherham team, delivering responsive repairs across residential properties. This permanent role is 40 hours per week, 8am-7pm Monday to Friday, plus Saturday morning on a rota.

An out-of-hours callout rota with an additional payment is included. Essential qualifications include IET EAS recognised core technical competence (C&G 2365), 18th edition wiring regulations, and initial verification/testing

Qualifications

• Certificated Electrician qualifications with domestic and commercial experience.
• Experience in fixed wire testing, installing and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to interpret technical data, drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive repairs as part of a Barnsley, Wakefield & Rotherham team.
• Work in line with health and safety guidelines and agreed performance targets.

Job description

We are looking for an Advanced Electrician to join our Barnsley, Wakefield & Rotherham team, delivering responsive repairs. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am - 7pm Monday - Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment.

Essential requirements of the role

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems seeking any advice required.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.
