Job summary

Guinness Property is seeking an Advanced Electrician to join our responsive repairs team, covering Crewe, Chester and surrounding areas. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week, 8am–7pm, Monday–Friday plus Saturday morning on a rota.

An out-of-hours callout rota with additional payment is also part of the role. You will hold IET EAS qualifications (C&G 2365 or equivalent, 18th Edition, 2391-52), with experience in domestic and commercial electrical works and a strong focus on safety

Qualifications

• IET EAS core technical competence required: C&G 2365 or equivalent.
• IET EAS Wiring Regulations qualifications - 18th Edition.
• IET EAS Initial verification and inspection qualification - C&G 2391-52 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for an Advanced Electrician to join our responsive repairs team, covering Crewe, Chester and surrounding areas. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am ? 7pm Monday ? Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment.

Essential requirements of the role

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems seeking any advice required.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.
