Job summary

Guinness Property is seeking an Advanced Electrician to join our Barnsley, Wakefield & Rotherham team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will deliver responsive electrical repairs across a multi-site portfolio, covering 8am–7pm with a rota for Saturdays and an out-of-hours callout, with enhanced pay for rota duties.

The role requires Certificated Electrician qualifications, IET EAS recognition and ability to interpret technical drawings, data, and instructions, with a strong focus on safety

Qualifications

• Certificated Electrician qualifications required.
• Experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Ability to interpret technical data, drawings and instructions.
• Experience with fixed wire testing and electrical maintenance up to 230v/415v.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive electrical repairs for the Barnsley, Wakefield & Rotherham portfolio.

About the role

We are looking for an Advanced Electrician to join our Barnsley, Wakefield & Rotherham team, delivering responsive repairs. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am ? 7pm Monday ? Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment.

Essential requirements of the role

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems seeking any advice required.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.

Essential Qualifications:

• IET EAS Recognised core technical competence qualification - C&G 2365 or equivalent
• IET EAS Recognised Wiring Regulations Qualifications - 18th Edition
• IET EAS Recognised Initial verification and inspection and testing qualification - C&G 2391-52 or equivalent.
