Recruitment Helpline Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Reactive Maintenance Electrician to join our well-established team. The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance, emergency jobs, and planned preventative maintenance across Greater Manchester.

A basic salary of £45,000 with a bonus awaits, plus a company van and fuel card for local NW work. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition) with strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition.
• Experience in reactive maintenance and repairs.
• Experience in domestic and commercial environments.
• Competent in EICRs, emergency lighting and PAT testing.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Attending reactive electrical callouts and fault finding.
• Electrical repairs and making safe.
• Consumer unit upgrades and circuit alterations.
• Lighting and power fault diagnosis.
• EICRs and remedial works.
• Replacing accessories, breakers and wiring repairs.
• Completing job reports and photos via mobile app.
• Providing excellent customer service in occupied properties.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Reactive Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established company based in Greater Manchester.

Salary: £45,000 basic salary plus bonus.

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent.

Schedule: Monday-Friday + callout rota.

Due to continued growth, they are recruiting a Reactive Maintenance Electrician to join their team — ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and delivering first-time fixes.

The Role - Reactive & Repairs Focused

You’ll be working mainly on day-to-day maintenance, emergency jobs, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) including:

• Attending reactive electrical callouts and fault finding.
• Electrical repairs and making safe.
• Consumer unit upgrades and circuit alterations.
• Lighting and power fault diagnosis.
• EICRs and remedial works.
• Replacing accessories, breakers and wiring repairs.
• Supporting minor general maintenance when required.
• Completing job reports and photos via mobile app.
• Providing excellent customer service in occupied properties.

You’ll represent the company on every job — working cleanly, safely and professionally.

What We're Looking For

• Fully qualified electrician - NVQ Level 3 & 18th Edition.
• Experience in reactive maintenance & repairs.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in domestic and commercial environments.
• Able to complete EICRS, emergency lighting and PAT testing.
• #removed# would be adventurous.
• 2391 Test & Inspection - required.
• Full UK driving licence (required).
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Ability to work away from home as and when required.
