Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is sourcing an experienced Reactive Maintenance Electrician for a well-established property maintenance company based in Greater Manchester. You will be responsible for day-to-day reactive maintenance, fault finding, and delivering first-time fixes in occupied properties.

The role includes PPM tasks, callouts, electrical repairs, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs, and regular reporting via a mobile app, with a Monday–Friday schedule plus an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Experienced Reactive Maintenance Electrician
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to deliver first-time fixes in challenging environments

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive electrical callouts and fault find
• Carry out electrical repairs and make safe
• Perform consumer unit upgrades and circuit alterations
• Diagnose lighting and power faults
• Carry out EICRs and remedial works
• Replace accessories, breakers and wiring as needed
• Support minor general maintenance when required
• Complete job reports and photos via mobile app
• Provide excellent customer service in occupied properties

The Role – Reactive & Repairs Focused

You’ll be working mainly on day-to-day maintenance, emergency jobs, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) including:

• Attending reactive electrical callouts and fault finding


• Electrical repairs and making safe


• Consumer unit upgrades and circuit alterations


• Lighting and power fault diagnosis


• EICRs and remedial works


• Replacing accessories, breakers and wiring repairs


• Supporting minor general maintenance when required


• Completing job reports and photos via mobile app


• Providing excellent customer service in occupied properties
