Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Liverpool is recruiting an Electrician to join our North West team. The role involves inspection and testing in occupied properties, producing Electrical Condition Reports, and carrying out remedial works with a company van and power tools provided.

You will work both alone and as part of a team, maintain safety compliance, and provide clear advice to customers. A full UK driving license is required, and a 18th edition qualification with City & Guilds 2391-52 are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified to 18th Edition with 3rd/4th amendments and relevant electrical qualifications.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and adherence to it.
• Good communication and customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence required for company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns to meet customer expectations within contract
• Resolve problems or initiate resolution and keep customers informed per processes
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stocks replenished as needed

We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our team in North West. The role will involve a variety of lone and team work with varied responsibilities. You will primarily be responsible for inspection and testing in occupied properties and producing Electrical Condition Reports, as well as remedial works. You will be provided with a company van and power tools, training will be provided, as and when required.

The role of Electrician will include:

• Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications
• Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment, NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52 and AM2. Or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
• Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation. Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach.
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
