Adecco currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing business in Hull, HU7. The role focuses on electrical installation and testing of caravans, with a four-day week and a pay rate of £16.80 per hour.

You will ensure all work is performed to high quality and safety standards, while collaborating with production teams to meet schedules. This permanent, full-time position offers stability and good work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Electrician with manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with fault finding and testing of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring systems within caravans and leisure vehicles.
• Fit and connect lighting, sockets, switches, consumer units and electrical accessories.
• Install and test 12V and 240V electrical systems.
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic work on electrical installations.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with regulations and company standards.
• Perform electrical testing and inspection prior to vehicle handover.
• Work with production teams to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain a safe and organised work area at all times.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production facility.

£16.80 per hour | 39 Hours per Week | Monday to Thursday

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing business in the HU7 area of Hull. Working a 4-day week, you will play a key role in the electrical installation and testing of caravans, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday
• 39 hours per week

Pay

• £16.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring systems within caravans and leisure vehicles.
• Fit and connect lighting, sockets, switches, consumer units and electrical accessories.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrician within a manufacturing, automotive, caravan, modular, construction or similar environment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electrical fault finding and testing.
• Good understanding of electrical health and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant electrical qualifications preferred (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
