Emco Talent is seeking an experienced Electrician for housing repairs across domestic properties. The role covers repairs, remedial works and insurance-related tasks in occupied and void homes.

Electrician - Housing, Repairs & Remedial Works

Rate: £22.00 per hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm | Friday 8:00am-1:30pm

Overtime: Time and 1/3 after 37 hours

We are currently looking for experienced Electricians to join a busy team carrying out electrical works across domestic housing properties.

The role will involve a mixture of repairs, remedial works and insurance-related works, working across occupied and void properties.

Typical duties

• Electrical repairs and maintenance within domestic properties
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Remedial electrical works
• Rewires and partial rewires where required
• Installation and replacement of sockets, switches, lighting and other electrical accessories
• Testing and inspection of electrical installations
• Identifying faults and completing repairs to the required standard
• Working safely within occupied and void properties
• Completing relevant job sheets and documentation
• Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements

Requirements

Applicants should be fully qualified Electricians with previous experience working within domestic housing, repairs, maintenance or similar environments. You should be comfortable working independently, dealing with tenants/customers and completing jobs to a high standard.

Package

• £22.00 per hour with overtime paid at time and 1/3 after 37 hours.
• Working hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am-1:30pm Friday.
• A company van and fuel card will be provided for business use.
