Job summary

MoveATech in Evesham is seeking a permanent Electrician to join our maintenance team. The role covers planned and reactive electrical tasks, fault finding and compliant testing in a secure environment.

You will manage maintenance records and contribute to ensuring safe, compliant systems for staff and residents. Ideal candidates hold City & Guilds Level 2 electrical installation, familiarity with BS7671, and a solid understanding of safety and maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2367/2357 Level 2 electrical installation or equivalent.
• BS7671 18th Edition (18th preferred; 17th with upskilling).
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Experience with planned and preventative maintenance.
• Strong organisational and time management.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance and admin duties.
• Fault finding / problem-solving on electrical systems across the site.
• Carry out replacements and electrical minor works with inspections and tests per BS7671.
• Ensure electrical systems are safe, compliant and functioning for staff and residents.

Job description

Electrician Evesham

We are recruiting for an Electrician on a Permanent basis

The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience with the shift uplift it is £35,495- £41,555

As Electrician you will be involved in;

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including administrative duties aligned to the tasks.


• Actively fault finding / problem solving on electrical systems across the prison.


• Carry out like for like replacements and other electrical minor works with the relevant electrical inspections and tests carried out and results recorded in accordance with BS7671.


• Ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effectively helping to create a secure and well-maintained environment for staff and residents.

What you will bring:

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent.


• BS7671 18th Edition, however, we will consider 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition.


• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.


• Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations.


• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

There may be a need to work some weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
