Job summary

Central Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Skilled- Timeserved Electrician to work on installation, refurbishment, maintenance and reactive projects across retail, commercial and industrial sites. The role may involve day and night shifts and short-notice reactive work.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, ECS Gold Card, 18th Edition BS 7671 and City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395, with a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent required.
• ECS Gold Card and 18th Edition BS 7671 essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations in accordance with BS 7671.
• Install containment systems, wiring, power, lighting and associated equipment.
• Undertake fault finding, repairs and maintenance.
• Accurately complete certification and site documentation.
• Work safely in accordance with RAMS and current health & safety legislation.

Job description

Skilled- Timeserved Electrician

The role involves working on a variety of installation, refurbishment, maintenance and reactive projects within retail, commercial and industrial environments. Due to the nature of our work, flexibility is essential as projects may involve both day and night shifts, with occasional short-notice reactive works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations in accordance with BS 7671.
• Install containment systems, wiring, power, lighting and associated equipment.
• Undertake fault finding, repairs and maintenance.
• Accurately complete certification and site documentation.
• Work safely in accordance with company procedures, RAMS and current health & safety legislation.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• ECS Gold Card.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required.

Desirable

• IPAF.

Salary

• Mon-Fri Standard days £21 prhr
• Mon-Fri night rates when required £25.50 prhr
