Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an Electrician to perform EICRs in social housing across Manchester and Greater Manchester. The contractor role involves testing, identifying defects, and completing C1/C2 remedials with a regular flow of 2–4 EICRs per day.

You will work across occupied properties, supported by an established contractor, with a weekly pay cycle and a potential permanent position. A DBS check may be required; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience completing EICRs and remedial works independently.
• Ability to travel across Manchester and Greater Manchester.
• DBS certificate or willingness to complete a DBS check.

Job description

Take on a long-term contract role with weekly pay, calibrated testing equipment provided, and the option of a company van as an Electrician, completing EICRs and remedial work across social housing properties throughout Manchester and Greater Manchester.

You'll be working across occupied properties, supported by an established contractor with a consistent pipeline of work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position. If you're looking for steady work and an immediate start, this Electrician opportunity could be a great fit.

As an Electrician, you will be:

Completing EICRs across occupied social housing properties
Identifying and accurately classifying electrical defects
Carrying out associated C1 and C2 remedial works
Completing approximately two to four EICRs per day
Maintaining accurate testing and compliance documentation
Travelling across Manchester and Greater Manchester

City & Guilds 2391 or an equivalent inspection and testing qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
A relevant Level 3 electrical qualification
Experience completing EICRs and remedial works independently
A valid DBS certificate or willingness to complete a DBS check
A full UK driving licence
