Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Electrician role based in Doncaster. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial, industrial, and domestic settings. Day‑to‑day tasks include wiring and cable installation, testing and inspecting electrical installations, diagnosing faults, and completing necessary repairs to ensure systems are safe and fully operational. The role also involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, adhering to safety regulations and company procedures, preparing job documentation, and communicating clearly with colleagues, contractors, and clients. The Electrician is expected to work efficiently, support project deadlines, and contribute to a positive and professional team culture.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electricity and electrical engineering principles, with the ability to apply them safely and effectively.
• Practical experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and testing of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance with relevant standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and current industry certifications; 2391 52 is advantagous.
• Thorough knowledge of UK electrical regulations and safety practices, including adherence to Health and Safety guidelines.
• Good problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required within the region.
