Job summary

Coulson Building Group is seeking a full-time Electrician to join our Services Department in Cambridge. The role focuses on M&E-based services across domestic and commercial projects, including installation, refurbishment, and facilities management; you will work as part of an installation team on larger contracts.

The successful candidate will perform installation testing and inspection (EICR), contribute to new installations, alterations, lighting work, control systems, and heating systems,

Qualifications

• Experience in working in domestic properties and refurbishment and installation site based projects.
• Time served apprenticeship and associated qualifications.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Good understanding of both domestic and commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Company Description

Coulson Building Group is a Cambridge-based main contractor with in-house Mechanical and Electrical, Facilities Management, and Joinery departments. The company delivers integrated construction and building services, allowing projects to be managed efficiently from concept to completion.

We are currently seeking a full time Electrician to join our established and highly motivated Services Department.

Job Role

The role is based within our Services Department who offer predominantly M&E based services to a vast array of clients, from domestic and commercial installation and refurbishment contracts, to our ever increasing Facilities Management commitments. We have a diverse range of projects that we would require the successful applicant to adjust to seamlessly throughout the working week. Minor domestic refurbishments may well be followed by a longer-term electrical installation site based project. The successful candidate will predominantly be working on our larger contracts as part of an installation team.

Experience and Qualifications
