Job summary

Mane Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician for an industrial FMCG facility in Devon. The role covers installation, maintenance, fault-finding and repair to keep plant and production equipment safe and reliable.

You'll perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs, diagnose faults on packaging lines and processing equipment, and work with MEWP access as required in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Valid IPAF 3a/3b certification required.
• Experience with planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work in fast-paced FMCG production environment.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across the facility.
• Diagnose, fault-find and repair electrical faults on production machinery and packaging lines.
• Install, maintain and modify industrial electrical containment systems; work with MEWP as needed.

Job description

To carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault-finding and repair activities within an industrial FMCG manufacturing facility, ensuring that plant, production equipment and electrical systems operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
The role requires a high standard of electrical workmanship, a strong safety culture, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will support both planned and reactive maintenance activities, helping to minimise equipment downtime and maintain continuity of production.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across the manufacturing facility.
• Diagnose, fault-find and repair electrical faults on production machinery, processing equipment, packaging lines and associated plant.
• Install, maintain and modify industrial electrical containment systems, including tray, basket, trunk

Due to the nature of the installation required, applicants MUST have a valid IPAF 3a 3b to be considered for this role. As a vast majority of this work will be carried out from a MEWP.

Working Hours: 07:30am - 17:30pm (10 hours paid)
