Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a leading facilities team in Coventry. You will deliver on-site electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works across commercial properties in Coventry.

The role requires 18th Edition, Level 3 electrical qualification and experience with lighting, fire alarms, and EV charging points, with DBS clearance and strong fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical qualification (relevant) required.
• 18th Edition qualification essential.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred.
• PASMA or IPAF, if possible.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Previous commercial electrical experience.
• Experience with lighting and electrical systems in commercial properties.
• Experience with fire alarm systems, EV charging points and commercial appliances is beneficial.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a facilities team.
• Candidates to provide their own basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain commercial electrical lighting systems.
• Install and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Install new EV charging points.
• Install and maintain commercial appliances, including electric cookers.
• Install and modify electrical fixtures and fittings.
• Conduct electrical inspections and identify any remedial works required.
• Ensure all electrical works are completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Carry out general electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works.
• Work closely with the Facilities Lead to deliver effective Building Services solutions.
• Complete works to a high standard while maintaining good communication with customers and site teams.

My client requires an experienced Commercial Electrician to join their facilities team, delivering on-site electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works across commercial properties in Coventry.

Location: Coventry

Pay: £32.00 per hour (Paid via CIS)

Hours: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing assignment
