Job summary

Fraser Edwards are seeking an electrician for a Colchester-based role. The position involves routine maintenance, domestic electrical repairs and installations, including rewires and boiler connections, with a call-out rota (1 in 4 weeks) and standby pay.

Benefits include a company van, fuel card, tools, pension and life cover, along with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. Full UK driving licence, NVQ 3, 18th edition and AM2 required.

• NVQ Level 3 and 18th edition training.
• AM2 qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine pre planned and reactive maintenance.
• Undertaking all aspects of domestic electrical repairs, new installations including full and partial rewires, CCU changes, shower installations, boilers connection.
• Physical fault finding as required.
• Carry out modifications and installations as and when required.
• Complete any required paperwork and reports accurately and on a timely basis.
• Logging works via PDA.
• Liaising with customers, clients, and staff.

Job Description:

Fraser Edwards are currently working with a construction contractor that have been trading for over 50 years in the construction sector providing complete building and maintenance services to private and public clients nationwide.

Due to an expansion and taking on more work they are looking for their next electrician to join the team and really make a difference within the company.

All works will be undertaken in Colchester and local surrounding areas.

The Job

• Carry out routine pre planned & reactive maintenance

This role will include a call out rota, which is 1 in every 4 weeks.

• you will receive a standby fee, paid per day
• All call outs paid at x1.5 hourly rate door to door
• No more than 4 - 6 call outs which normally occur before 10pm and after 6am
