Job summary

Morgan Sindall Plc is seeking a qualified Electrician for the Westminster R&M Contract. The role involves domestic electrical installation, repairs, testing and EICRs, with data capture via PDA/mobile systems. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring high standards of safety and quality on site.

You will need Level 3 electrotechnical qualifications and be familiar with BS7671. The position offers a permanent, full-time arrangement, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Candidates must hold Level 3 electrotechnical qualifications or equivalent.
Experience in domestic electrical installations, EICRs and electrical maintenance.
Ability to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Undertake electrical repairs, testing and installations across assigned area.
Produce concise and accurate data records via PDA/mobile systems.
Actively participate in team briefs, toolbox talks and technical bulletins.
Ensure compliance with BS7671 and Health & Safety policies.
Work independently or in a team to deliver right-first-time tasks.

Job description

Permanent Full Time, 42.5 hours per week.

We are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our Westminster R&M Contract, based from our office at Goldney Road, W9 2AR.

Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll join us to undertake electrical repairs, testing and installation works across your dedicated area, whilst complying with BS7671, ensuring implementation and compliance is in line with our Health and Safety Policy and procedures.

Candidates will be able to work individually or as part of a team and will have proven experience within a similar role. The successful candidate will have experience within a domestic setting as well as proven experience with electrical installation, EICRs and electrical maintenance. You’ll be confident working independently, with a strong ability to diagnose issues and identify effective solutions. You’ll produce concise and accurate data records through PDA / mobile communication systems and reporting, ensuring tasks are completed right, first time, with materials and timescales both achievable and deliverable. Attending Team Briefs, Toolbox Talks and Technical Bulletins monthly, you’ll demonstrate a positive, diverse, and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customers and colleagues always.
