Job summary

Sanctuary is seeking an Electrician in Banbury to carry out installation, fault-fixing and maintenance in occupied properties. You will produce Electrical Condition Reports, operate the company van and power tools, and undergo training as required.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in core electrics with 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391-52, AM2, and a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer-focused communication. Full UK driving licence is preferred for travel.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52, 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment and AM2.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Able to analyse and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
• Comfortable using IT and NIC EIC Online Certification Platform.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract and service specifications.
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice to customers; maintain clear daily records.
• Respond promptly to complaints and breakdowns to meet customer expectations; follow contract processes.
• Resolve problems or initiate resolution; keep customers informed per agreed procedures.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stocks replenished per procedures and budgets.

Electrician

Banbury

£45,528 per year

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our team. The role will involve a variety of lone and team work with varied responsibilities. You will primarily be responsible for inspection and testing in occupied properties and producing Electrical Condition Reports, as well as remedial works. You will be provided with a company van and power tools, training will be provided, as and when required.

Role of Electrician will include:

• Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications
• Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52, 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment and AM2. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications.Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
• Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
• Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach
• Comfortable using IT and the ability to use NIC EIC Online Certification Platform

This role will involve drivingon company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
