Job summary

Tulloch Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a growing team on a staff basis, covering industrial, commercial and utilities projects throughout Aberdeenshire and the wider UK.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, with the ability to work independently and adapt to different sites and environments. A strong focus on quality and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is essential.
• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation & associated works across industrial, commercial and utilities projects
• Cable containment, glanding and termination
• Testing, commissioning & fault finding
• Working to drawings, specifications and RAMS
• Adhere to BS 7671 and site requirements
• Occasional travel and working away from home when required

5 years' electrical experience

They're seeking a reliable, safety-conscious electrician who can work independently, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and is comfortable adapting to different sites, environments and projects.

• Working safely and in accordance with BS 7671 and site requirements
• Occasional travel and working away from home when required

Skills & Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
• ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Minimum 5 years' electrical experience
• Previous experience within utilities, substations or HV environments would be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and safe isolation procedures
• Safety conscious with a positive attitude towards health, safety and quality
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
