Job summary

MARCH is seeking Electricians to join our Aberdeen team, covering projects across the North of Scotland including Highland, Moray, Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial properties, ensuring compliance with BS 7671.

The role offers stable, long‑term work with a competitive rate dependent on experience, plus opportunities for progression within a growing business. Driving licence preferred for most roles.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation qualification required.
• SSSTS/SMSTS preferred for supervisory roles.
• First Aid at work is desirable.
• 2391 inspection and testing qualification preferred.
• Driving licence preferred for most roles.
• IPAF and PASMA desirable where required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial properties.
• Conduct inspections and testing to BS 7671 standards.
• Ensure compliance with codes, legislation and procedures.
• Complete tasks within agreed time frames.
• Diagnose faults and minimise downtime.
• Adhere to health and safety and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication.

Education

SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

SSSTS or SMSTS for supervisory roles

First Aid at work

City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) or equivalent qualification

Aberdeen

We are now looking for additional Electricians to join our team in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. Projects will be based across the North of Scotland, including (but not limited to): Highland Moray, Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial properties.


• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure compliance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)


• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, legislation and procedures.


• Carry out tasks within agreed time frames.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing effective solutions to minimise downtime.


• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.


• Provide excellent customer service and communication to clients and team members.

Skills And Experiences

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.


• SSSTS or SMSTS for supervisory roles.


• First Aid at work (desirable, can be provided).


• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) or equivalent qualification preferred.


• Driving license (preferred for most roles).
