Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for a Goole-based manufacturing site. You will maintain equipment, fault find and contribute to continuous improvement, within a small team. This is a days-based role with no weekend work and an early finish on Fridays.

The role offers stability within a well-established manufacturer and the opportunity to influence reliability and site improvements across filling, blending and packaging machinery.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing.
• 18th Edition (or willingness to update).
• Experience working with electrically controlled equipment.
• Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to diagnose faults and resolve electrical failures.
• Computer literate with the ability to use maintenance management systems and maintenance records.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work with the manager and one newly qualified engineer.
• Carrying out activities on the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and basic mechanical faults.
• Support production teams with engineering solutions.
• Maintain documentation as necessary and assist with site improvement projects.

Join a well-established manufacturing business as the electrically biased maintenance engineer, working within a small team, maintaining equipment and machinery, fault finding and continuous improvement activities. This is an excellent opportunity if you're an experienced maintenance engineer looking for a stable days-based role with no weekend working.
