Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is sourcing an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer for a Whitchurch site in Shropshire. The role involves maintaining and improving production site equipment, with a mix of reactive and preventative maintenance.

You will diagnose faults on electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, carry out planned maintenance, and support machinery installations within a well-established engineering team.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification required.
• Experience with electrical fault finding in industry.
• Knowledge of 3-phase systems and control panels.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Good communication and proactive maintenance approach.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive maintenance breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance across site.
• Diagnose faults on electrical/electro-mechanical equipment.
• Support machinery installations and site improvement projects.
• Update CMMS maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
